Mervat Sedky, 60 years old, from Manshiet Nasser area in Cairo. Mervat is a widow and has 4 children who are all married. Mervat has been working so that her children have good education and can be independent as they grow up even in their new homes.   

Mervat took a part of her house at first then opened a small business as a small market to help increase the family income. She works in it from 8 am to 10 pm. She now rented a small shop in a central place in the area to get more clients.
