Aya Said Story

Aya Said is 23 years old. She is from Sharabia area in Cairo.

Aya studied in technical schools but did not use it in employment as these schools are usually very weak in Egypt and don’t provide good preparation for the workforce. Aya is a sister to 3 other siblings. She is helping to provide for the family as her father passed away a few years ago.

On the advice of her friends, Aya took courses in makeup and discovered her talent in it. She is now a makeup artist who does work for brides and people wanting to attend special occasions. Aya took the first loan from Naslink and helped her increase her income.

Aya was dreaming of having her own salon someday that would provide many services for brides. She now has started to set it up and is asking for another loan to buy more material for it. She has fully repaid the first one.
