Amira Ibrahim is 30 years old; She is divorced and living with a family of 3 children. She has a baby in kindergarten and the other two in primary school. They all live in Kanater area near Cairo.

Amira works in the morning in a hairdressing salon, and this provides her with a regular income. Additionally, she started her small business at home to trade in household fabrics and clothes. This has really helped her and provided her with additional income as she sells in her area after buying in bulk from wholesalers. She now sells items for brides and on installments.
