Amal Helmy is 43 years old. She is married with 2 daughters; one is married and the other is studying literature.  They all live in Khosous area in Cairo.

Amal works in the shoe manufacturing industry; she works in partnership with her husband. She aims to manufacture the best materials at a low cost. She is in charge of buying the materials and making the shoes while her husband sells the finished products in Ataba area. Ataba area is filled with small shops and wholesalers who are good clients of the Amal Helmy product.

Amal makes the shoes from a small room beside her home. They are both seeking additional income to survive through the inflation and life demands of these times.
