Suzan Lotfy Story

Suzan Loutfy, 38 years old, from Ezbet Khairallah in Old Cairo. Suzan has 4 girls in different stages of primary and secondary school. Suzan is working so that her girls have good education and can be independent as they grow up.

Suzan’s husband used to work at a construction company for a long time but due to an injury, he was terminated and had to get a lower income job. Household income was affected by the move and Suzan decided to help support the family through additional work.

Suzan took a part of her house and opened a small business as a small market to help increase the family income. She works in it in the morning while her husband takes the evening shift when he goes back home. It is very important for her to spend time with her girls in the evening to help with their studies and prepare them for the life ahead.
